Heres a site talking about solar sailing. Scientist researched and found that sailing through space is the "best means of space transportation"

  1. wow!!!!!! how cool would that be?? I say that, but more than likely i would never do it!! Too scary for me! It doesnt surprise me about this. Pretty soon, going to space will be just as normal as going down the shore.

  3. Wowwwww! That is awesome! That is definitely something I would do! I agree with Laura and Chris, over time, probably after our lifetime, traveling to space will just be a common trip. I hope it happens in our lifetime, I think that would be such a thrill!

  5. Going to space will never be in our lifetime, but how cool would that be. I would just float around and not give two hoots about anything that was going on.

  7. This would really be something. I agree one more place for a get away. It would be great to experience a day in space. I don't know if some people would travel to space on a sail boat because they might be afraid of heights but it would be interesting to have some kind of transportation to take people that would like to get away in space. Of course if that happens I hope it can be affordable.

  13. Its kind of funny that ships are always the preferred nomenclature for the the ocean and outer space. so sailing as a term fits right in!

  14. good comment rick, the term sailing implies charting the unexplored or vise vera. This new way of navigating this mystereious environment will help increase exploration and the expansion of outer earth colonization. Id love to live out there!

  16. Yes! i read that the solar currents prduced my stars can push a sail. its insane that even in the caios of space they found a pratical old school method of taviling. this in much more aceaveabol than constructing a engin that sucks up Black matter and converts it into energy....we would have to figure out what black matter is, first.
