There is a lot of promise out there, but I think this is the best. No emissions and ample supply. It makes you wonder why we waited so long to start brain storming alternative fuels. I guess necessity is truly the mother of invention. I hope companies are not given the authority to monopolize water.
This is a great idea. We should have been looking into alternative fuels long ago. Imagine the possibilities of saving the environment using this method. Cars that do not need to run on gasoline, not needing to depend on other countries for oil. But most of all clean air, a better environment. Wow
Hydrogen works. From the torch example, it is also efficient with little energy lost. The reason a florescent light bulb uses less energy than a regular bulb is that the florescent bulb does not produce heat. Water is reasonably plentiful. It also appears to be renewable. The only thing needed is a series of stations. Foreign oil would no longer be needed, which could be used to stimulate the upstart.
From Steve Gudknecht...Well that's absolutely amazing if it's true. Assuming it is, I wonder what the social consequences would be in a fresh water starved planet. Can the system use salt water? If not, how much does desalination cost (taking salt out of sea water) per gallon? Wave bye bye to a major source of global warming on the planet. Where will all the oil workers now work - this is a concern in any potentially transformational technology?
I think this is music to everyone's ears. This should have been thought about a long tme ago. This is one of the biggest problems contributing to pollution and global warming. If we could just solve a minimal portion of the problem with this, it would be amazing
See, you can't go wront with water. That just makes me mad that nobody thought of this years and years and years ago. We might have less of a problem with globle warming today if we just started off with water.
I don't think that this will be implemented as everyone hopes. The government makes too much money off gas as it is. I think this is a glorious invention and hope for it to be implemented soon. Water Works simply put.
This would really be great but I have to agree with Nico the government with all the money they make off gas would they really be happy with this idea? It would really be nice to be able to use water instead of the gas, polluting our air every day.
