  1. That's really cool. I can definitely see something like this in the grocery stores in the near future. Most, if not all big grocery have the self-checkout option available. This would seem to be the next logical advancement in technology for grocery stores. Although, you have to wonder how much money they would spend buying expensive carts such as these?

  2. This was an interesting video to see. For the customer it would be great technology advancement. It's fast and convenient. For the cashiers it looks like if technology goes towards this route that would mean that many of the cashiers will not have a job. When the self checkout lanes came out I had lost my job. At first I felt bad that I had lost my job because it was the only thing I knew how to do at the time. On the other hand it was a positive experience for me because it lead me to where I am today back in school and getting a degree. Some people do not use the checkout lanes because they feel as if they are taking something away from another person for example, a cashier. Others they use it because it's a fast process and they do not have to wait in long lines.
